Fun Cards, Including a New Venture

It's been awhile since posting - and I've been busy creating and having fun with another hobby of mine - my photos. I've started to make photo cards to go along with my paper crafting fun. I will be linking my blog to my smugmug website soon. But for now, time to share some fun creations.

These cards above where made at the October card class. Oops, I think the bottom left card we made in September, oh well, it is still a fun get well card. I will have to look for pictures of the 6th card we made in October and post it too.

The cards above, we made at class at the end of November for December. We had fun with vellum and I used paper lunch bags to make a fun gift card holder along with my grandma's sewing machine to stitch the pockets on 28 bags.

Below are some cards that I've put together using my pictures. Go to my website to check out all the photos that you can have made into cards or matted to frame. If you are interested in purchasing some, just email me. Each photo is mounted inside a 5x7 card and comes with matching envelope - photos are mounted on white, cream or black cards. Cards have rectangular or oval openings and are blank inside.

And just in case you'd like to have the photos as part of your home or office decor, I can do that too. I have the pictures in a protective sleeve so the mats don't get scratched or scuffed. I also have photos placed in single black mats that I will share in a later post. These are the same size as the cards 5x7 - I am also looking into getting larger sizes, but I want to wait to see how this venture goes before going to overboard :)

Thanks for looking and letting me share my addictions with you ;)
Enjoy!

The Adventure Continues :)

Finally have some pictures of a few cards we've been doing at card classes and for FUN.

Cards from August and September classes. I enjoyed working with some retired papers and playing with a new book I purchased - sharing some fancy folding!

I used the new Cricut Art Philosophy from CTMH to design these cards - the scalloped oval card is completely cut out using the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamp set that comes with the package! Really fun and super easy to do!

Thanks for following, I'll be adding more pictures soon. Take Care! Dani

Playin' With Chalk

While CTMH has retired their chalk line - I still love to dabble with it and see the great look it adds to cards. I played with some of the colors to come up with several different looks for the sky in the next couple cards. It was fun to do some sunset, natural sky and northern lights...

The second card idea came from Lorrinda at http://www.isntthatsweet.blogspot.com/ and I loved it so much I had to try it myself. She has some great ideas, if you have a moment, check them out. So many ideas, so little time to play! Enjoy, Dani

Think Spring :)

With so much snow still on the ground, it's tough to think of spring but its coming so here are some fun Springy cards.

Hope these add some sunshine to your days! I added some bitty sparkles to the bottom card at the tails of "dream" and in the centers of the flowers - always remember the bling :) Enjoy! Dani

Happy March!

It's been awhile since I've posted and wanted to share some of my projects :)

I used Mistletoe paper and changed up the stamp sets to make the different cards.
ENJOY!
